• 09:00 Visit The Wood-Carving Center at Bann Ta-wai. It has been known as the major handicraft attraction of Chiang Mai for Thai and foreign tourists. The atmosphere in Bann Ta-wai is very laid-back and relaxed. The best quality and bargains of wood carving items can be found here such as, wood carving, wood-strips, gold leaf wood, antique wood, silverware, lacquer ware, basketry and earthenware. Enjoy your time shopping by bargaining things that you would like to buy or just for window shop. You can watch the tradesmen and women busy arranging, packing and shipping anything from small antique to hand-carved wardrobes, even custom made items.
